HP Newquist is an author, musician, museum curator, and artificial intelligence historian.
From science and music to business and brains, HP Newquist has written more than thirty books for both children and adults. His books have received numerous awards and have been translated into languages as diverse as Korean, kanji, Arabic, Mandarin, and Indonesian. He has written about artificial intelligence for more than three decades, has written and directed music documentaries, and has spoken at events around the world on everything from guitars to smart machines.
In addition to his writing, he is the founder and executive director of The National GUITAR Museum. Here is a short list of HP Newquist's books:

HP Newquist has written more about artificial intelligence than anyone else on the planet. He has been covering the business of AI for more than four decades. His work has resulted in at least a million words written on artificial intelligence.
His work has been cited by The New York Times, NPR, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fortune, Business Week, The Economist and a host of others. He was a columnist for Computerworld, AI Expert, The Expert Systems Journal; a contributor to Popular Mechanics, Newsweek, and the Encarta Encyclopedia; and is the founder and publisher of the AI TRENDS newsletter.
Newquist has spoken at conferences around the world on the topic of AI.
He is the curator of the first touring museum exhibition dedicated to AI, titled “Artificial Intelligence: Your Mind & The Machine.”
Newquist put his writing and research into "The Brain Makers,” a book that explores the entire spectrum of artificial intelligence development. It is considered the definitive history of man's attempt to make thinking machines.
Newquist has won numerous awards for his books.
